Chantal Veilleux

MA Graduate

Chantal completed her Special Education college diploma at Vanier College. She also completed her Honours Bachelor of Behaviour Analysis at George Brown College, graduating Valedictorian of her class. Chantal completed her Master of Arts degree in Applied Disability Studies, specializing in Applied Behaviour Analysis, at Brock University.

Chantal currently works as a Behaviour Consultant in Ontario, Canada, providing applied behaviour analytic services to families and school support staff. She works collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to ensure client success and wellbeing. She provides consultative supports through a mediator-training model, using the principles of ABA to shape staff and caregiver behaviour to support their children’s skills and competencies towards socially significant outcomes. She specializes in early intervention teaching various domains of play, using play-based learning to shape rudimentary social skills, communication and verbal behaviour development, and also specializes in parent and caregiver training. In her role, she exclusively supports Francophone communities, and communities in northern Ontario with reduced access to effective behavioural treatments, helping to reduce important barriers in service provision in the province.
