Rebecca Ensor
MA Graduate
Rebecca completed her Bachelor of Science in Biology - Psychology at Queen’s University and Graduate Certificate in Behaviour Science Technology at St. Lawrence College before pursuing her Master of Arts (MA) in Applied Disability Studies (applied behaviour analysis specialization) under the supervision of Dr. Burnham Riosa (graduated in 2019). Rebecca’s research interests are in the applications of behaviour analytic principles to non-specific therapeutic factors (e.g., therapeutic rapport). For Rebecca’s MA thesis, she examined the effects of building therapeutic rapport between instructor therapists and children with autism on therapeutic success. Rebecca currently works as a Clinical Coordinator in the autism program at Hamilton Health Sciences and professor at Mohawk College (Autism and Behaviour Science Program) and McMaster University (Human Behaviour Program).
