Shona Mills

MA Graduate

Shona completed her Honours Bachelor of Early Childhood Leadership at Sheridan College. She also completed her Master of Arts (MA) in Early Childhood Studies at Ryerson University before pursuing her Master of Arts (MA) in Applied Disability Studies (Applied Behaviour Analysis specialization) under the supervision of Dr. Burnham Riosa (graduated in 2024). For her thesis, Shona used behavioural skills training to teach community practitioners active listening skills to implement various transition to adulthood program activities for autistic youth and their families. Shona currently works as an Autism Therapist, II in Urgent Response Services at the Reach out Centre for Kids in Halton Region.
