CIRCA, UBC, in collaboration with the BCDA, BCDHA, dental professionals and autistic advocates, has created a new program designed to assist any Dental Professional in learning practical and useful strategies to support autistic and neurodivergent clients of all ages in the dental setting.
It includes a series of four self-paced, interactive modules filled with useful activities and videos and is available to anyone, anywhere, for FREE!
“I thank you deeply for representing myself, my family, and my community in this important work. Visiting the dentist’s office has always been a very difficult challenge for myself (as an autistic person) and my autistic daughter and this course gives me such hope for the future.”
Dr. TC Waisman
(Editorial Board Member Autism in Adulthood | Co-Founder Autistic Researchers Committee at INSAR | Autistic Advocate)
This program relates directly to the provision of patient care and treatment.
Upon completion of all 4
modules, learners will receive a Certificate of Completion that can be used to apply for continuing education credits.
