Ready2Work: Development and Evaluation of an Online Employment Platform for People with Autism

Meaningful employment is a priority for many people with autism; however, their rates of under- and unemployment remain among the highest in Canada. To date, relatively little research has been conducted to understand the relevant job search skills, tools, and resources that job seekers with autism might need to secure gainful employment. The purpose of the Ready2Work project is to develop a user-informed online employment platform aimed at addressing the needs of job-seekers with autism by collaborating with job-seekers with autism, caregivers of job-seekers with autism, and employment professionals supporting job seekers with autism.
