Julia Mindru

Julia recently completed her Honours Bachelor of Science in Biomedical Sciences at Brock University, during which she was involved with the lab. She was also involved in many volunteer opportunities working with children and young adults including the school’s student wellness and accessibility centre as a peer mentor, and as a classroom helper for students with disabilities. Julia is currently a medical student at the University of Limerick and hopes to pursue a career in family medicine or paediatrics.

Julia was able to take part in multiple projects where she helped with coding, interview transcriptions and focus group delivery. She is excited to continue learning important analytical and research skills in the lab as well as learn more about young adults with disabilities’ transition to adulthood. Julia hopes to implement these skills in a future career as a physician.
