Kyra Maher

Graduate RA

Kyra is a master’s student pursuing a degree in Applied Disability Studies specializing in the Applied Behaviour Analysis (MADS ABA). Kyra has over 3 years of experience working directly with those in the disability community and is excited to further her knowledge within Dr. Burnham Riosa’s lab. Kyra is interested in investigating and understanding the behavioural aspect of individuals with disabilities, learning and understanding Prader-Willi Syndrome, in addition to family experiences.

Kyra has been gaining experience with implementing and using behavioural strategies for those with disabilities within her work experience but being a part of Dr. Burnham Riosa’s lab will further her understanding of behaviour and identifying different strategies that can be implemented to support those with various disabilities.
